Adoption Day 16 MAY 2009

By the aid of our volunteers and contributors our Adoption Day was a great success with more than 300 people participating in it.

One week before the event our attention-raising campaign had already been started with the partaking of several journals and TV channels who had reported the upcoming event.

Our Foundation’s phone lines were constantly busy receiving the inquiring calls from those trying to get to know more about the Adoption Day and willing to help. Many people had just faced the difficult position of the Dog Control Facility reading the related newspaper articles.

We had however always highlighted that though everybody was absolutely welcome to visit the Adoption Day, only those being capable of taking care good care of a dog for a lifetime were supposed to actually adopt one of them.
